For some innovative pub fare that won’t break your wallet, head over to The Blockley Pourhouse, one of Philadelphia’s newest bar hotspots. It already has a following and gets fairly packed on weekends with people crowding the sleek bar and the comfy lounge couches with orange leather upholstery.
The full bar has a 12-draft tap system that features local beers like Yard Philly Ale and Victory HopDevil, among others. There’s also a nice, extensive menu that has plenty of plates to choose from, none of them exceeding $15. Try the filet mignon, the New England clam roll, or the pulled pork sandwich to start.
There’s also a lineup of DJ’s and live bands, so head over if you’re looking for a good time any night of the week.
